St Margaret Marys College

St Margaret Mary's College is a Catholic secondary college for girls in Hyde Park, Townsville, founded in 1963 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. Immersed in the Benedictine charism of compassion, hospitality, and service, the College gives its students the opportunities to discover their strengths, discover their purpose, and discover it all.

Guided by its motto — "Christus Veritas" (Christ the Truth) — and inspired by the story of the Good Samaritan, the College nurtures young women of hope who live compassionately and justly, answering the call to be a neighbour to all.
